Front Porch Reveal

I am so excited to show off my front porch today!

For the first time since we moved in 2 years ago, I have finally done something to our porch and I am really happy with it. We received a porch swing as a house warming gift and I have always enjoyed sitting on it and swinging but because there wasn't much else to make it welcoming, we don't sit out there very often.

I really wanted to make our porch more welcoming and for it to reflect what was on the inside of our home.

I started by swapping out our old table and chairs set for these awesome green chairs that my brother gave me for Christmas.

I also added a little wooden table and topped it with the ceiling tile that I got in Asheville with my mom last month.

I put these pillows that I made last year in the chairs...

I also made a new pillow with my new outdoor fabric from Fabric.com. It is going on the porch swing with our house number pillow.

I added a few decorative touches with a few things I found this weekend...

I love this awesome chalkboard sign that I found at a shop in Gastonia....

I hung a bird house that I got from Hobby Lobby...

I also found this cute little wooden bench for the table and pulled a candle and vase of faux flowers from my decorative stash.

My wreath from last month's craft night is on the door..

Here it is altogether...

All that is left to do is add some ferns that I plan to purchase this weekend! I am so excited to sit out on our porch when it warms up again!

  5. How pretty! Everything is vintage-y and colorful, yet they complement each other. I love the swing and its vintage accessories; it gives your porch character. Why don’t you add a colorful or vintage carpet on the floor or a cute little lamps up there to pimp it more? Lyn at DAL Builders
